In dating, it’s quite obvious that taking your relationship offline will allow you to go to the next level, but for some reason, many business owners don’t quite get that concept.
Let me clarify; "building a business relationship off line" does not necessarily mean meeting in a coffee shop with a stranger ...even though that's an option. It just means having a process in place to get people into your system.
Social network platforms are not your systems. They are great for attracting potential clients, customers, members, etc., but then you must have a plan in place to guide people to the next level. … and what's the next level, you may ask?? Well, into your system, of course!
Driving traffic from multiple sources into your system allows you to build a strong email marketing list and that means building trust and strong relationships for your products and services.
This does not require changing all of your marketing habits. As a matter of fact, if you are an avid user of social media, then bravo ... you can often continue, however you should consider focusing your efforts in a direction that will benefit your business to the highest degree and if you are a Facebook junkie, then you need to install your system into your Facebook Business Page.
Another one of the biggest mistakes small business owners make in posting to social media is showing and saying too much. If you know anything about successful Facebook ads, you know that "less is more."
So don't try to cram everything into one post....put all of the good stuff on your site, a blog or on a landing page ... with a powerful call-to-action..and of course your sign-up form
Be sure any new information has been loaded into your site FIRST and then DRIVE people to your site with TEASER information on your social posts. Not only will you save a ton of time, but your content marketing assets will grow tremendously!
It's perfectly fine (MANDATORY) to use a great image. You just want use images that are fresh, new and when clicked they it will take people directly to your call-to-action.
Just remember...you are building more than a business; you are building relationships. People are much more likely to come to your site if you offer to show them something they have never seen before and they can only see by going to your site!
