
Every business owner knows that offering incentives during the holiday season is a great way to attract new clients and express thanks to your existing clientele. We also know that the competition is stiff and ideas for giving away specials without giving away profits, can take a lot of imagination and creativity.
One idea to consider is ….partnering with other businesses….to create promotions and gift certificates for interrelated products and services. It can be a way to boost sales for both businesses and build a stronger relationship for years to come.
If you do not already have a working relationship with the other businesses, you should put that on your "to-do" list and be sure to do your due diligence.
Today's interactive communications platforms make it easy to review what their existing clients think of their service, which will give you an idea of how well they will treat you and your clients.
As always, I’d recommend having a written agreement that clearly defines the plan, the expectations and the assumptions on both sides. So be bold and think about some of the partnerships you can build.
